Gay Boy Problems/ This isn't the 60's

This isn't the 60's so stop wearing your grandpa's underwear.

I've been working out at my gym for almost a year and there's something that always get on my nerves: watching hot guys wearing tighty whities or loose boxers.

I understand I'm living in East Texas, which is nothing close to be a cosmopolitan or trendy area, although that's not an excuse to still living in a conservative-boring past.

I'm not asking you to wear the erotic collection by N2N Bodywear or the revealing designs by Obviously for men, but at least you could wear some basic colorful hip briefs by Calvin Klein Underwear, or the always fun and fashionable Australian styles by aussieBum.

However, if  you really want to push it a little bit more, what about some jockstraps by Timoteo Underwear or  the provocative ones by NYC based Nasty Pig?

With leading fashion houses such as Emporio Armani and Dolce & Gabbana creating whole collections for every season, underwear is not something you want to hide anymore,  instead,  has become an element of your outfit and part of your personality.

So next time you're getting out of shower, think twice what you are going to wear "underneath" your clothes. Remember, sex sells and trust me, tighty whities are not going to get you laid tonight.

Over the Rainbow/ 10-11 National Coming Out Day

Today I'm gonna start a new section in my blog, where I'll talk about news, events and everything happening in the LGBT community.

And the perfect way to start it, is about celebrating who we are and who we love...

Yesterday was the National Coming Out Day, founded by Robert Eichberg, a founder of The Experience workshop, and National Gay Rights Advocates head Jean O'Leary during a 1988 meeting of LGBT activists as a day to celebrate coming out. The date of October 11 was chosen to mark the anniversary of the Second National March on Washington for Lesbian and Gay Rights, which had taken place four months earlier.

I did this illustration, (Hope you like it), showing two sailor lovers, who are not afraid anymore of their feelings. Showing their love for each other, forgetting about what others say, knowing at the end of the day they will always have each other...

So, What are you waiting for? Get out of the closet and show who you really are... Don't be afraid of loving, of dreaming and living...

Cinema a la Carte/ Sex and The City 2, the gayest movie I have ever seen

From the over stylish clothes on the characters, the so cliche's gay scenes, the Liza Minelli appearance, and the fact that the theater room was packed with Gays, this movie really was the gayest movie I have ever seen, but still I loved it.

And who doesn't, I mean, Noah Mills ass, Max Ryan ass & the Australian sausages from the rugby team, really, I was already feeling something down South in my body, like Samantha said.

It was like watching Project Runway meets Gay Pride Festival, meets American Idol... In a kind of good way... The clothes were A-M-Azing, of course a little bit over the top, but still acceptable, the story way better than I thought it'll be and the guys, well I just have three words for that... HOT!!!

The only part I didn't like was the part were the girls are singing and all the sudden everybody's dancing (So "American cliche", American girl's in a different country, fun for sure, Whatever...) and at the end the Arabian girls wearing Designer's clothes, I kind of not believe it...
Overall, a nice movie to watch with some friends, in particularly with Gay friends or friends that are obsessed with fashion...

Jet Setter/ Houston TX.

Don't worry guys, Ke$ha is not coming out of the closet, but her song Blah blah blah is.

A group of army guys, created a video where you can see nudity, great ass moves, popped collars and peeking in the showers, all this to support GAY MEN in the military.

The video is great, not only because is well made but for showing cute military men.

Enjoy...

Writes the video's creator:

"Created by Codey Wilson and his elite step team of volunteers. Don't give us a hard time for this, please? We're just a few good men trying to enjoy ourselves and get this deployment over with. No one is gay... that we know of. Not that there is anything wrong with that! (political correctness) As a young aspiring film maker I was forced to release this early due to our friend in Afghans high school lip sinked music vi.deo You know you love it. Enjoy it. Spread it. Live it. Lastly, ignore the copy cats that will soon follow and keep your taste for original creativity. Much love from the east!"

MC Illustration/ The G* Stereotypes

OMG! Finally after postponing for a long time this illustration, I made it happen.

There's not such thing as different kind of gay guys, but definitely there's some Stereo-types; like in the real and everyday life. For example: the nerd guy, the smart guy, the popular guy, the jock guy, etc... In the gay community, you can also easily say what kind of gay a guy is.

I tried to show the most common and the simplest to represent.

1. BusinessMan. They are the kind who wear suits and go to work in offices. Very straight looking, hunky, grown-up, non-twink, sexy, toned and muscled men but not bodybuilders. Usually guys in their thirties and forties.

2. Cowboy. They like to go horse ridding, rodeos, country music and activities outdoors. Very hard worker men with a masculine body.

3. Twink Is the goodlooking and cleancut young man. Often blond and dimpled, with smooth and usually hairless skin, flawless complexion, and frequently tanned. They are young and with a cute face.

4. Buff. They have the muscular and weightlifter's body that has been shaped and refined through hours of blood, sweat, and tears in gyms. It is a manufactured body, created by thousands of man-hours of backbreaking bench presses, flyes, butterfly curls, dips, and other iron-pushing maneuvres, executed in a four-on, one-off punishing schedule of gym-going. They eat healthy and they like to show up is body on the dance floor.

5. Leather. They are the kind who wear leather, jeans, harness and jockstraps. Into BDSM, Exhibitionism & SM. Also enjoy having though sex or sex in public. They have usually different kinds of body. Mostly guys in their forties or fifties. The Folsom Street Fair is their annual street fair held on the last Sunday in September and caps San Francisco's "Leather Pride Week".

6. Bear. Tend to have hairy bodies and facial hair; some are heavy-set; some project an image of working-class masculinity in their grooming and appearance, though none of these are requirements or unique indicators. Typically very similar in appearance to the ideal of the North American lumberjack.

So here are the types, which one are you?

Celebrity Buzz / Over the Rainbow

Today it's my first entry and what better way to start a blog finding out that Ricky Martin has come out of the closet, finally!

For most of us, this is old news, but today everybody is talking about it.

The 38 years old "boricua" has share with the world his real feelings on his website.

Writing that it has been a very intense, painful and stressful process, and finalizing writing:
" I am proud to say that I am a fortunate homosexual man. I am very blessed to be who I am."

This is an example to all of those guys that are afraid of who they are.

Good for you Ricks, and I wish you nothing, but the BEST, in this new phase of your life. Your words really inspired me.
