Cinema a la Carte/The Social Network

With more than 500 million users, Facebook is the leading social networking site based on monthly unique visitors. Coming up with the idea of making a movie out of this successful story was obviously the next step.

The movie narrates everything that Mark Zuckerberg had to go through before becoming the youngest billionaire in the world (with a net worth of US$4 billion in 2010) and the co-founder of Facebook. But you don't make 500 million friends without making some enemies, then also shows the struggle moments he had to face.

Being Facebook Whore, I cannot wait for the movie to come out. I seriously believe this guy is an example of creativity, intelligence and cleverness. Because who would have thought that his idea of sharing people's "thoughts" and "beliefs" about others would become the beginning of a new era in media.

The trailer gets me chills every time I watch it. Simple and catches the essence of what you do on Facebook; then the soundtrack song, just completes the whole Facebook experience.

In theatres October 1 2010.

TVLand/ ANTM The "High Fashion" Cycle

America's Next Top Model cycle 15 premiered tonight at The CW . Fourteen girls will be on the run to become ANTM. This season, the lucky winner will get a a contract with IMG Models, one of the top international modeling management companies in the world; fashion spread in Vogue Italia and an additional spread and cover of Beauty in Vogue; and a $100,000 contract with CoverGirl Cosmetics.

Famous and recognized fashion personalities will be giving their point of view as guest judges. Among them will see Diane Von Furstenberg,(which I personally love); designer/stylist Patricia Field (“Sex and the City”), supermodel Karolina Kurkova, top fashion photographer Patrick Demarchelier, designer Zac Posen, IMG Models executive Kyle Hagler, Vogue Italia editor-in-chief Franca Sozzani and designer Roberto Cavalli. The guest judges look promising, hopefully they'll live up to the expectations.

This cycle seems to be all about the high fashion or should I say freak fashion. Most of the girls are beautiful, some of them not that much, and others are hot in a freaky way. I guess anyone with cute make up, the right angle and the perfect outfit can be a model.

So far my favorites are Rhianna, Chelsey and Liz. They are not only gorgeous but also have a great personality and something that stands up from the other contestants.

I'm so glad that Miss Minessota aka "Megan Fox wanna be" didn't make it to the final fourteen. There was such fakeness coming out of her.

Anyways, I'm sure The CW series are going to be the reason I'll start skipping the gym during the afternoons.

Don't forget to get your High Fashion dose , every Wednesday at 8/7c only at The CW.

Le Mouvement Quotidien/ Get outta my way

Find more videos like this on Kylie Konnect

Kylie's new video for her latest single just bumped into the web yesterday and everybody is talking about it... And How can they not?

The song it's totally hot, catchy and will be a super hit on the radio, but the video, WOW... AMAZING...

Unlike other artists, she's not trying to pursuit the Lady Gaga style, which every Tom, Dick and Harry seem to be crazy about nowadays. Instead she brings us, just a super Kylie sexy video; full of great fashion, moves also graphics and let's not forget about those bare-chested boys.

I love the way she expresses  herself with her body, moves and backup dancers: simple, sensual & astounding. The retro-futuristic graphics, just fit perfectly with the vibe of the video.

Another spectacular video of Ms. Kylie Minogue. Bravo for her and her team for showing some creativity...

Today's World/ Miss Mexico crowned Miss Universe 2010

Miss Mexico Jimena Navarrete was crowned Miss Universe 2010 tonight in Las Vegas, after rocking a flowing red gown.

The 22 years old woman, originally from Guadalajara, told the audience it's important to teach kids family values, as she answered her question.

There's some curious facts about this victory for Mexico. She's the second woman who has won the pageant. The first one Lupita Jones, was crowned Miss Universe in 1991 in Las Vegas. She was also crowned by a Venezuelan woman, and she also wore a red dress for the Gala, interesting, isn't it!?

Beat Goes On/ I Like That

I love the way you smile. I might just bite your lips... This song it's gaining popularity really fast in the States... Is a sticky song, and perfect to dance, so I'm totally in love with it... And of course, as the other songs I like, kind of describes what I feel about a sexy person... So makes more sense for me to like it...

The video with pop art/retro style just completes it...

Richard Vission also has the best remixes... No wonder why I  enjoy this song

So start checking those booties and look for it...

L'addition, S'il vous plaît/ Julian's Tyler Tx.

Whenever in East Texas, you should stop by and have dinner or drinks at Julian's.

This Restaurant and Lounge has a chic atmosphere, with a modern minimalistic style... Black, red and white are the main colors, combined with furniture with straight line shapes.

The Lounge area has this screen/wall where they display the view of a city at night with fog, which gives the place a cosmopolitan touch. Black round ottoman sites and short squared tables where you can enjoy the variety selection of martinis.

The menu from chicken to seafood, it's delicious. If you're feeling hungry try any of the bowls. The Apex Shrimp Bowl (which I had last time) , it's delightful. A spicy combination of shrimp, mushrooms and ginger. "Para chuparse los dedos"

Located in 5201 S. Broadway, Suite 122, Tyler TX. Definitely a place to check out...

Cinema a la Carte/ Eat, Pray, Love

In a World full of craziness, stress, business and money, when sometimes we let this things carry us away, it's good when someone remind us there's more than that.

Eat, Pray, Love; is a great movie, with the wonderful Julia Roberts. The drama, the dialogs and the characters really get to you and you related with them in one way or another. Also, describes the American life perfectly...

It's a movie that makes you think about your life, you're everyday decisions and actions. You immediately start evaluating the things you have done in the past, and you start wondering if you're happy or not.

It's a reminder of what should really be important in life: friends, family and specially ourselves. The pursuit of happiness and balance...

And do I have to say the company I had while watching this movie was amazing!? Thank you boo for such an amazing weekend...
